Transport strategy to achieve transit potential of Ukraine – Kistion

The transport strategy of Ukraine until 2030, which has been recently approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, is aimed to achieve the transit potential of Ukraine.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion stated this during the presentation of the document to the international community, the government’s website reports.

"We need to increase our competitive advantages both in foreign markets and meet the needs of Ukrainian people in transportation, first of all, to increase the mobility and accessibility of transport services," Kistion said.

The document is a strategic vision of the Ukrainian government for the development of the transport industry. In 10 years, the railway, air, sea and river transport of the country should be integrated into the international transport network with modern conditions of transportation and business in this area, Kistion said.
