Ukraine’s Agrarian Policy Ministry, FAO define priorities for improving business climate in agro-industrial complex

The Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) have identified priorities within the framework of cooperation to improve the business climate and attract investment in the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex.

This was discussed during the meeting of Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Olena Kovaliova with FAO representatives led by Roberto Ridolfi, the press service of the Agrarian Policy Ministry reports.

The main goal of the meeting was to determine the priorities for external cooperation between Ukraine and FAO within the framework of improving the business climate, creating and supporting new financial instruments and attracting investments in the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex.

"The Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine and the FAO signed the framework program of cooperation for 2016-2019. The program aims, among other things, to improve the business climate. The Agrarian Policy Ministry supports the efforts of FAO to increase the number of work programs in Ukraine in the areas of policy support, market analysis, export development and investment attraction," Olena Kovaliova said.
