PM Groysman: Stable gas transit to Europe to ensure joint management of GTS

Joint management of Ukraine's gas transportation system will provide additional guarantees for stable gas transit to Europe and provide European consumers with energy resources.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this at the meeting of the coordination council on fuel and energy sector reform, the Governmental portal reports.

"We need to ensure joint management of the gas transportation system to meet the needs of European consumers. However, the solution depends on our decisions as well. We have a high-level group [the coordination council on fuel and energy sector reform]. Its proposals and decisions form the basis for our further actions," Groysman said.

The Ukrainian Prime Minister noted that the reform of the Naftogaz of Ukraine and the counteraction to construction of Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline were being discussed in the context of the GTS issue.
