Ukrainian migrants transferred UAH 86 bln from Poland to Ukraine last year

Ukrainian labor migrants transferred PLN 11.7 billion (UAH 86 billion at the current NBU rate) from Poland to Ukraine last year. 

"In 2017, the foreigners transferred from Poland an equivalent of PLN 13 billion (over UAH 95.5 billion) compared to PLN 8.8 billion (about UAH 64.7 billion) in 2016 (up 47.9 %). From the entire amount transferred in 2017, PLN 11.7 billion (UAH 86 billion) was transferred to Ukraine, i.e. 90.4%," reads the report of the National Bank of Poland, Obserwatorfinansowy.pl reports.

As noted, in 2016, Ukrainians transferred from Poland PLN 7.8 billion (over UAH 57.3 billion).
