Local budgets increased almost fourfold for two years – Groysman

Incomes of local budgets have grown almost fourfold over the past two years.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this during a meeting with representatives of regional media, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"When we started to work, the local budgets amounted to UAH 64 billion and did not have own revenues. Now they amount to UAH 231 billion, which is almost fourfold more," Groysman said.

He notes that the Government having allocated funds from the state budget to the regions wants to see the way the local authorities use them.
