Concept of changes of capital market infrastructure represented in Ukraine

The National Commission on Securities and Stock Market (NCSSM) has represented the concept of legislative changes of the functioning of the capital market infrastructure in Ukraine.

"The concept envisages ways to modernize the capital markets infrastructure, make it more efficient, and bring it in line with international standards and practices,” reads the report posted on the website of the commission.

The concept was developed with the support of the EBRD by a working group of experts from the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market, the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Depository of Ukraine, the Settlement Center for Servicing Financial Market Agreements, and Sayenko Kharenko law firm.

The document takes into account the recommendations of the international consulting firm Oliver Wyman, which evaluated the state of the capital market infrastructure in Ukraine.
