Zubko names three regions with highest growth rates of local budget revenues

Poltava, Sumy and Volyn regions demonstrated the highest growth rates of local budget revenues in Ukraine in January-March 2018.

Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko wrote this on his Facebook page.

"In January-March 2018, UAH 51.6 billion was transferred to the general fund of local budgets, which is 24.8% of annual targeted figures approved by local councils. The increase in revenues amounted to 24%, or 10 UAH billion, compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. At the same time, the rate of growth in revenues is above the average in 13 regions in Ukraine (the highest rates were recorded in Poltava, Sumy, and Volyn regions),” Zubko wrote.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, local budget revenues in 2017 grew to UAH 192 billion, which is 31%, or UAH 45.3 billion more compared to 2016.
