EBRD plans to sign about 30 agreements of cooperation with Ukrainian companies

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) plans in 2018 to sign about 30 agreements of cooperation with Ukrainian companies, including three or four in the field of transport and logistics.

EBRD Director for Ukraine Sevki Acuner said this during a press conference on signing the agreement between the EBRD and Ukrainian private postal delivery and logistics company Nova Poshta, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"This year we hope to sign about 25-30 agreements. We intend to expand our activities in all the areas," Acuner said.

Three or four agreements are likely to be concluded in the field of transport and logistics, Director for Transport at the EBRD Sue Barrett added.

"The agreements are expected to be concluded to the sum of $150-200 million," Barrett noted.

The EBRD is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the bank's activities in the country in 1993, its total commitments have amounted to almost EUR 12.2 billion in 377 projects.
