Ukraine-Belarus trade grows by almost 20% in 2017

The trade turnover between Ukraine and Belarus in 2017 grew by almost 20% and reached $4.6 billion.

Belarusian Ambassador to Ukraine Igor Sokol said this at a press conference on Monday, April 2, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Last year, trade with Ukraine increased by almost 20 percent and amounted to 4.6 billion U.S. dollars," Sokol said.

He also said that last year, Ukraine ranked second among Belarus' trading partners in terms of trade and exports and fifth in terms of imports.

Belarus is fourth in the rating of the largest export markets of Ukraine.
