About 30 million Ukrainians travel around the country every year

About 30 million citizens annually travel around Ukraine both for recreation and business tourism purposes.

Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Tytarchuk said this in a commentary to an Ukrinform correspondent on the sidelines of the UITT Ukraine International Travel and Tourism Exhibition.

"According to the data of the mobile operators, about 30 million Ukrainians annually travel around the country for recreation and business tourism purposes," Tytarchuk said.

According to him, the number of foreign tourists in Ukraine is expected to increase in 2018 as the low-cost airlines will enter the country.
