Ukraine already exported over 30 mln tonnes of grains

Ukraine has exported over 30 million tonnes of grain crops since the start of the current marketing year, the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Rights Protection reports.

In particular, almost 13.8 million tonnes of wheat (including over 7.7 million tonnes of milling wheat and over 6 million tonnes of feed wheat), about 4 million tonnes of barley, and 11.6 million tonnes of corn have been exported.

A total of 32.8 million tonnes of grains were exported over the same period last marketing year. In particular, over 14.4 million tonnes of wheat (including about 9 million tonnes of milling wheat and over 5.5 million tons of feed wheat), 4.7 million tonnes of barley, and 13.3 million tonnes of corn were exported.

In the current marketing year, over 4.3 million tonnes of oilseeds were exported, including over 2 million tonnes of rapeseed, over 2.2 million tonnes of soybeans, while in the same period last year, the export of oilseeds totaled over 3.3 million tonnes (over 0.94 million tonnes of rapeseed and 2.4 million tonnes of soybeans).

As Ukrinform earlier reported, Ukraine’s grain harvest in 2017 totaled 61.28 million tonnes, which is 4.7 million tonnes less than in 2016.
