Kyiv to attract tourists from India and China

The capital of Ukraine is going to attract the tourists from India and China by offering them e-visas and stopover days.

Head of the Tourism and Promotion Department of the Kyiv City State Administration Anton Taranenko posted this on his Facebook page.

"India and China. These countries are our priority in attracting tourists for 2018. In 2017, the tourist flow from these countries increased by 40%. I think the reason was the visa on arrival program," Taranenko wrote.

According to him, the task for 2018 is to enable the citizens of these countries to get electronic visas. In addition, it is planned to make stopover days in Kyiv with the possibility of visiting the capital without a visa for 3-5 days.

The official also noted that this year the VFS.GLOBAL visa centers started to operate in Delhi and Beijing, where a Ukrainian visa can be issued at $65. The addresses of the centers are indicated on the websites of the embassies.
