Ukrainian Finance Minister meets with IMF experts

Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk met with a group of experts of the International Monetary Fund, led by Ron van Rooden, who will work in Kyiv until February 16.

"On February 12, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk, First Deputy Finance Minister Oksana Markarova and Deputy Minister for European Integration Yuri Butsa met with a group of experts of the International Monetary Fund, led by Ron van Rooden," the press service of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine reports.

It is noted that the participants in the meeting discussed the further implementation of the IMF program, the reform of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and the introduction of corporate governance in state-owned banks.

"The visit of the IMF expert group is especially important for us, as now is the time to use the opportunity for Ukraine to move forward in cooperation with the Fund and successfully fulfill our obligations under the program," Danyliuk said.

According to the Finance Ministry, the IMF expert group will work in Kyiv on February 12-16. The technical discussions with the Ukrainian side are planned within the framework of the visit.
