Ukraine’s government allocates more than six bln to support farmers – Groysman

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocates UAH 6.3 billion to support farmers. The funds will be used to help medium, small farms and specific farmers.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman informed this on his Facebook page.

"The Government allocates UAH 6.3 billion to support farm workers. The funds will be spent on medium and small farms and specific farmers," Groysman said.

He stresses that the aid will be given to farms with a land bank up to 500 hectares and to ordinary citizens who are engaged in farming.

Thus, according to the prime minister, farmers will be able to receive 100% of compensation for the cost of Ukrainian seeds, 25% - for the cost of purchasing Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery, and gardeners will get 80% of compensation for the cost of young plants.
