Vice PM Zubko determines budget-funded projects for development of regions

Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko has determined priority projects for the development of regions for 2018, which will be financed from the state budget.

The priority projects include centers for the provision of administrative services, security centers, rural medicine, Zubko said during a meeting with the leadership of the regions at the Regional Development Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"We understand that at the level of the united territorial communities, at the regional level, there is not always an opportunity to gather a good team and develop quality projects. It is important for us to provide our recommendations so that you can use them... The reforms of schools, social services, administrative services, the reform in the medical sector must be implemented so that people understand that there is a new infrastructure for the provision of services," Zubko said.

He adds that budget-funded programs should meet a state policy of regional development.

Among the priority projects for 2018, which will be financed from the state budget, Zubko calls centers for the provision of administrative services, security centers, rural medicine, a new education space (inclusive and resource centers and a multimedia library).
