Level of payments for utility services grew from 4% to 17 % in 2017 - NEURC

The level of payments for utility services grew from 4% to 17 % in 2017 compared with the previous year, according to the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NEURC).

"The overall level of payments has grown significantly in all regulatory areas (from 4% to 17%). Full and timely financing of subsidies can reach 100%," the NEURC press service reports.

Thus, according to the commission, the level of payments for natural gas in 2017 was 17% higher than in 2016, for heating - 13% higher (up to 97% against 84% in 2016), for electricity - 4% higher (up to 98% against 94% in 2016).

The level of payments for energy resources and utilities in 2017 grew from 4% to 17%.

At the same time, the level of payments for water supply services fell by 6%, but still remained high (95%).
