Ukraine allocates UAH 11 bln for development of regions – Groysman

The Cabinet of Ministers allocates about UAH 11 billion for the development of regions, insisting that these funds should be spent on priority areas.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman informed this on his Facebook page.

"The Government allocates about UAH 11 billion for the development of the regions, but it offers clear priorities for spending of the funds. If there is a task to eliminate queues in kindergartens, we ask the regional authorities to develop a project and we will invest in it," Groysman wrote.

According to him, the Government is also ready to help with the modernization of the vocational education system for training the personnel for the industry sector and with the renovation of health facilities, because people need to be treated in modern hospitals.

Groysman stresses that the responsibility of local authorities is the key to success.
