Kubiv announces creation of coordination center for digitization in Ukraine

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv has announced the creation of a coordination center for digitization in Ukraine, which will work in different directions.

He said this during Digital Talks with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.

"We are creating a coordination center for digitization, the project teams of which will work in different areas of digital transformation, including public safety, education, agricultural sector, healthcare, e-democracy, non-cash payment and others," Kubiv said.

He also notes that, due to the digitization, Ukraine's GDP could increase by additional 2% in 2019, 3% in 2020 and 6% in 2021.

Kubiv adds that the digital format is mandatory for all new decisions of state bodies and local self-government bodies.
