European Union pleased with Ukraine’s results in energy efficiency – Zubko

The European Union and the international partners are pleased with the results of cooperation between Ukraine’s Parliament and Government in the field of energy efficiency.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utility Services Hennadiy Zubko said this while reporting to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Construction about the work in 2017, the press service of the vice premier informed.

"This year was very successful and breakthrough in terms of adopting the necessary legislative framework for energy efficiency. Thanks to the active work of the Parliament, the Ministry of Regional Development and the Government, Ukrainians have already clearly understood that the term "energy efficiency" is primarily a way to reduce the energy consumption. And Ukraine has such potential," Zubko said.

The vice premier stressed that the European Union and the international partners were also pleased with the results of cooperation between the Parliament and the Government in the direction of energy efficiency.
