Deposit Guarantee Fund debt to NBU, Finance Ministry totals UAH 66 bln

As of December, the debt of the Deposit Guarantee Fund to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) totaled UAH 6.48 billion, and to the Finance Ministry – UAH 59.56 billion.

This has been stated is a press release issued by the Deposit Guarantee Fund.

"As of December, the debt of the Deposit Guarantee Fund totaled UAH 66.04 billion, including UAH 59.56 billion to the Finance Ministry, and UAH 6.48 billion to the NBU,” reads the report.

As Ukrinform reported, as of December 1, 2017, the total amount of funds accumulated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine totaled UAH 14,606.60 million. The register of the fund's members included 89 banks. In January-November 2017, revenues to the Fund from regular fees totaled UAH 3,314.77 million. As of December 1, 2017, the total sum of guaranteed refunds paid to the depositors of the insolvent banks made up UAH 87,705.6 million.
