Canada to allocate almost $8 mln for humanitarian projects in Ukraine

Canada will allocate $7.75 million for humanitarian projects in Ukraine, the Canadian Foreign Ministry has reported.

According to the report, Canada announces the allocation of $7.75 million to finance humanitarian projects in 2017-2018 in order to meet the most urgent needs of the population affected by the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

The ministry added that the funds would be allocated to several experienced and reliable international humanitarian partners working in Ukraine.

As reported, Canada has allocated more than $27 million for humanitarian projects in Ukraine since 2014.
