Groysman: Ukraine intends to increase trade turnover with Georgia up to $1 bln a year

Ukraine sets a task to increase the trade turnover with Georgia up to $1 billion a year and speed up the formation of joint transport bodies for more convenient logistics.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman posted this on his Facebook page.

"This week, during the official visit [to Georgia], we once again affirmed mutual commitment to the pro-European ideals of democracy and the course of reforms and also discussed a new logistics initiative "One Belt - One Way", which would offer the world new trade routes. I am glad that we are not simply announcing "the ideas for the future." We speak the language of figures and concrete plans: we set the task to increase the trade turnover up to $1 billion a year, to speed up the process of formation of joint transport bodies to solve the problems of trade logistics and to form a consistent approach to the tariff policy," Groysman wrote.
