Export to Canada increased by 74% over eight months – Mykolska

Ukraine constantly increases exports of high value-added products to Canada.

Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"Ukraine's trade with Canada is growing. Our exports increased by 74% for eight months. It is extremely important that the supply not of raw materials but of products with high added value is increasing, in particular: juice, special-purpose machines, plastic containers and ceramic tiles," Mykolska said.

She added that one of the main issues of the visit of the trade mission headed by the Ukrainian prime minister to Canada was the subsequent increase in trade turnover between the countries. "Our task in Canada was to discuss promising sectors of cooperation and concrete steps taken by the governments to ensure growth of trade and cooperation between our enterprises," she said.
