Swiss resumes flights to Ukraine in 2018

Swiss International Air Lines AG, also known as Swiss, will resume flights to Ukraine from March 26, 2018, as reported by avianews.com.

“The Swiss airline company Swiss has announced that flights to Ukraine will be resumed from March 26, 2018. On this day the airline company will operate its first Zurich-Kyiv flight after a four-year break. The flights on the said route will be operated four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays,” the report states.

The sale of tickets is expected to begin from October 25, 2017.

A reminder that Swiss, which is part of Lufthansa Group, was operating flights from Zurich to Ukraine's Boryspil International Airport between October 2013 and October 2014. The flights to Kyiv were suspended due to economic reasons, as 'business development on the route had fallen short of expectations', according to the company.
