EBRD: Placement of $3 billion Eurobonds is significant Ukraine’s success

The independent entering the international loan market and subsequent placement of $3 billion Eurobonds is a significant Ukraine’s achievement.

EBRD Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Francis Malige said this at the Ukraine Silk Road Trade Finance Executive Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The successful placement of Eurobonds on the international loan market, which Ukraine managed to enter without any support, is a significant success," Malige said.

As a reminder, Ukraine placed $3 billion in 15-year Eurobonds at 7.375% per annum. President Petro Poroshenko said the success of the 15-year dollar placement showed investors had confidence in Ukraine’s reform program.
