Vice PM Zubko: EU offers five-year program of support for Energy Efficiency Fund

The European Union has proposed a five-year program of support for the Energy Efficiency Fund.

 Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko said this during a meeting with European Commission Vice-President for Energy Union Maros Šefčovič, the Governmental portal informs.

 "This assistance will be constantly supplemented. That is, we are talking not about one-time assistance but a long-term support of the European Union, both technical and financial," Zubko stressed.

Earlier, the EU confirmed its readiness to provide the Energy Efficiency Fund with EUR 100 million to start to finance specific energy efficiency projects.
