Groysman wants to change situation at Ukrainian seaports

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said he is confident that Ukrainian seaports are now in an uncompetitive situation and this needs to be changed.

He stated this while inspecting the repair of a section of the T-15-08 Kalynivka-Snihurivka-Bereznehuvate road during his working visit to Mykolaiv region on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Today Ukrainian ports are uncompetitive in terms of their fees and quality of work, and our task is to change the situation at seaports," Groysman said.

He stressed the need to resume river navigation in Ukraine. According to him, this will reduce the burden on the roads and strengthen the national economy.

"The entire logistics infrastructure needs to be upgraded," he added.
