Ukraine in talks with Israel to lower customs tariffs on agricultural and industrial goods

Israel and Ukraine have started the sixth round of negotiations on the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement in order to continue considering access to agricultural and industrial goods markets and, in particular, to determine the degree of lowering the customs tariffs.

Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska wrote this on her Facebook page.

"The sixth round of talks on the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Israel has started," Mykolska wrote.

According to her, the purpose of the sixth round of talks is to continue the detailed consideration of issues related to the access to agricultural and industrial goods markets, particularly, to determine the degree of lowering the customs tariffs.

"It is very important for us to ensure the duty-free access to the Israeli market for Ukrainian goods, and our negotiating team is actively moving in this direction," the Trade Representative of Ukraine noted.
