Honey festival kicks off in western Ukraine

The international festival Honey of Prykarpattia will kick off in Ivano-Frankivsk city on July 22. The beekeepers from Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania will attend the festival.

Co-organizer of the festival, chairman of the Union of Beekeepers of Ivano-Frankivsk region Ivan Yusko announced this at the press conference.

"We have been cherishing the idea of ​​organizing the honey festival for many years. Its goal is to popularize healthy eating habits and the profession of a beekeeper. We expect the beekeepers from all the regions of Ukraine to come to our honey fair. The beekeepers from Lublin, Warsaw and Vilnius also want to attend our festival," Yusko said.

According to him, more than 60 beekeepers will participate in the honey festival in western Ukraine.
