PM Groysman: At least UAH 1 bln should be allocated for farming sector in 2018

The Cabinet of Ministers plans to envisage in a draft 2018 national budget at least UAH 1 billion for the development of farming sector in Ukraine.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated this in his speech at the forum dedicated to the issues of decentralization, which was held in Ternopil on July 20, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“We will have a new draft budget for 2018 in September, and the Government will offer the Parliament to foresee the targeted support of at least UAH 1 billion for the program on reviving and developing the farming sector,” the prime minister said.

In his opinion, this will create quality tools to promote small and medium-sized farms.
