South Korean company NongHyup may start investing in Ukrainian agro-industrial complex

The Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine and the NongHyup company (South Korea) are going to create a joint working group to discuss cooperation and investments in the Ukrainian agricultural sector.

This is reported by the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine.

"The President of the NongHyup financial group assured that their side was interested in both direct investments and the work within the framework of the public-private partnership projects in the Ukrainian agrarian sector," the statement reads.

The main priorities for Korean partners in Ukraine will be finance and credit direction, agricultural insurance, agricultural cooperation and creation of full value chains from production to consumption.

The South Korean company POSCO DAEWOO already cooperates with the Agrarian Policy Ministry in the field of modernization of Ukrainian agricultural machinery.
