Vice PM Zubko: Ukraine, France to cooperate in housing and utilities sector

Ukraine and France will develop cooperation in the sphere of housing and utilities, as well as in the sphere of providing training for civil servants.

Vice Prime Minister –Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko posted this on Facebook.

“Ukraine and France will develop cooperation in the housing and utilities sector, as well as in the training of specialists for civil service. These agreements were reached in the course of the official visit of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to France and his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron,” Zubko wrote.

As to the housing and utilities sector, according to the vice prime minister, French companies will participate in the modernization of district heating sector in Ukraine  under the project "Enhancing energy efficiency in the district heating sector in Ukraine", which is being implemented with the financial support of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Hennadiy Zubko said that French companies will work in the cities of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Mykolaiv. Also, the parties agreed on the training of civil servants with the support of the National School of Administration (ENA).
