Energy Efficiency Agency: UAH 62 mln reimbursed to creditors under energy saving program

As of June 23, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency paid off the compensation worth UAH 62 million to the creditors under the energy saving program, the government’s website reports.

In particular, about UAH 54 million in financial assistance was paid to families for heat insulation of housing, and almost UAH 3 million for the installation of solid fuel boilers. In addition, 52 housing cooperatives received more than UAH 5 million in compensation.

“As we can see, the program on energy efficiency credits really works. The Government fulfills its obligations and carries out reimbursement. I call on all those who wish to participate in the heating modernization of housing and receive considerable reimbursement for their expenses. You can not only save money when implementing energy efficiency measures, but also lower utility bills and increase comfort in your homes,” Chairman of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency Serhiy Savchuk said.
