Groysman to launch large-scale campaign for sale of state assets

In Ukraine, a large-scale campaign to sell state-owned assets should begin in 2017.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this at a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"This year we have to launch a large-scale campaign to sell state-owned assets that are not strategic but are important for attracting investments to Ukraine and for development of the national economy," Groysman said.

In his opinion, this will contribute to the fight against corruption. "If we talk about privatization, sale of assets, public and competitive sales - this is a very strong anti-corruption step," the PM said.
