Finance Minister Danylyuk: US interested in strengthening presence of American business in Ukraine

The new U.S. administration is interested in strengthening the presence of the American business in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk posted this on his Facebook page.

"I met with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, the key person in the economic block of the new U.S. administration. We focused on attracting investments to Ukraine. Wilbur Ross built a career on the Wall Street, so he understands this topic very well and enjoys respect among the American businessmen. The new administration is interested in strengthening the presence of the American business in Ukraine," Danylyuk wrote.

According to him, the American investments are a common interest as they facilitate job creation, bring advanced technologies increasing the competitiveness of our economy and contribute to strengthening of political ties between the two countries.
