Ukraine, Georgia to intensify energy and transport cooperation

Ukraine-Georgia intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation has resumed its work.

"The ninth meeting of the commission was opened by Vice Prime Minister, Energy Minister of Georgia Kakha Kaladze and Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze on April 13. The energy and trade-economic cooperation between Georgia and Ukraine was the main topic of the meeting," the statement reads.

The parties signed the protocol to intensify the work on the project of the Eurasian oil transport corridor (EAOTC), development of the Baltic Sea – Black Sea – Caspian Sea international transport corridor, as well as cooperation within the framework of the EU convention on rules of origin of goods.
