GUAM member states sign protocols on free trade and customs procedures

The member states in the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova) at a joint summit have signed two protocols aimed at the full implementation of a free trade agreement with the GUAM member states and the mutual recognition of customs procedures.

In particular, the GUAM member states signed the Protocol on the approval of the procedure for establishment and activities of the working body for coordinating actions of the Contracting Parties to the Agreement on establishing free trade between the GUAM member states.

The GUAM member states also signed the Protocol between the customs administrations of the GUAM member states on mutual recognition of certain results of customs control of goods and means of transport when implementing customs procedures.
