Groysman, Erdogan agree on specific economic projects

Paying the official visit to Ankara, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman reached specific agreements with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the intensification of economic cooperation, in particular, on the implementation of specific projects.

This is reported by the Governmental portal.

"The deepening of cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic area is one of the key prerequisites for the successful strategic partnership development," the Head of the Ukrainian Government said. In this context, Volodymyr Groysman stressed that signing of the Ukraine-Turkey Free Trade Agreement on mutually beneficial terms would facilitate the process of trade revitalization.

The parties separately discussed the issue of cooperation in the defense and industrial and aerospace fields.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine called the Turkish side for closer interaction in the energy sector, in particular, regarding the involvement of Ukrainian companies in the construction and modernization of gas storage facilities.
