Poland sold 400 mln cubic meters of natural gas to Ukraine in 2016

In 2016, the Polish Oil and Gas Company PGNiG signed an agreement with the Ukrainian Company ERU Traiding and sold 400 million cubic meters of natural gas to Ukraine under this agreement. 

Maciej Woźniak, Vice-President of PGNiG Management Board stated this, Onet.pl reports.

“In 2016, we for the first time carried out significant gas exports: we sold almost half a billion cubic meters of gas to Ukraine, particularly more than 400 million cubic meters,” Woźniak said and added that it was sold on good terms.

According to Maciej Woźniak, PGNiG wants to supply natural gas not only to the Polish consumer, but also to actively enter aregional level.
