Some 28,000 new enterprises created in Ukraine in January

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman says that the results of January 2017 show a tendency towards an increase in new jobs and wages for the working population.

The prime minister stated this during a meeting dedicated to the situation with the payment of minimum wages amounting to UAH 3,200.

“We’ve lived through the first month of 2017. According to all showings, at present we have a tendency towards an increase in the quantity, quality of jobs and towards the raised wages for the employable people," said Groysman.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers’ press service, in January 2017, a total of 28,000 new enterprises were created and an unemployed rate decreased by 16%.
