Kenya wants to involve Ukrainian companies in implementing energy infrastructure projects

Ukrainian trade mission in Africa has met with leadership of the Fuel and Energy Ministry of Kenya, which is interested in the products of Ukrainian energy companies.

This is reported by the press service of the Economy Ministry of Ukraine.

"Representatives of the Fuel and Energy Ministry of Kenya said they were actively engaged in the development of infrastructure for hydropower, regenerative energy, in particular, solar and wind power, hence they were interested in the supply of relevant products and solutions of Ukrainian companies," the statement reads.

The Kenyan delegation stressed that the Kenyan government was now engaged in implementing projects for electrification of the country and proposed to consider the participation of Ukrainian companies in the implementation of projects for the development of Kenya's energy infrastructure. The supply of Ukrainian pipes could also be of potential interest, the Kenyan delegation added.
