Ukraine's agriculture ministry launches pilot projects in four regions to improve grain quality

The Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry is launching a pilot project in Ukraine, initiated by the International Finance Corporation, to improve the quality of grain in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions.

Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) President Volodymyr Klymenko has stated this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The International Finance Corporation (IFC) works for grain quality. The project initiated by the IFC is designed for three-year activities to improve the quality of grain. Pilot projects will be implemented in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions,” Klymenko said.

An expert group headed by UGA President Volodymyr Klymenko and consisting of 40 members will be working to improve the quality of grain in the said regions.
