Government creates special group on functioning of crude oil market

The Cabinet of Ministers has created a special interdepartmental group on the functioning of the crude oil and oil products market and development of the oil-refining industry.

This is stipulated in the government resolution, No.816, posted on the government’s official website.

In particular, among the main tasks of the group are finding ways and procedures to solve existing problems on the market, assistance in ensuring the coordination of actions among central and local executive bodies regarding the issues of development and implementation of measures aimed at solving existing problems on the market, development of oil-refining industry etc.

Energy and Coal Industry Minister Ihor Nasalik has been appointed the head of the group.
