Ukraine, Slovenia sign memorandum of understanding in energy efficiency areas

Ukraine and Slovenia have signed a memorandum, which is aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and alternative energy sources.

This is reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Head of State.

"Chairman of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Serhiy Savchuk and State Secretary of the Infrastructure Ministry of the Republic of Slovenia Klemen Potisek signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy and alternative energy sources between the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine and the Infrastructure Ministry of the Republic of Slovenia," the statement reads.

The document provides for information exchange mechanisms regarding the implementation of projects in these areas, exchange of experience regarding the use of "smart energy" and renewable energy, as well as production of electricity from renewable and alternative energy sources.
