Groysman calls on Parliament to tighten control over public finances

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has called on the Parliament to tighten the parliamentary control over the use of public finances.

He said this, speaking at the Parliament during an hour of questions to the government, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Let's tighten parliamentary control over the use of public finances, particularly in the field of security and defense," Groysman said.

He also reminded the MPs that the Edata resource had been created, which contains information about the use of public funds, and all the procurements were carried out in the ProZorro system.

The Prime Minister pointed out that if there was still a need to strengthen the control over public finances, he would personally support this decision.
