German bank KfW may allocate EUR 55 mln for restoration of infrastructure in eastern Ukraine

Heorhiy Tuka, the deputy minister of Ukraine for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons, meets with representatives of the German's development bank KfW in Berlin on Wednesday.

He said this in an interview with an Ukrinform correspondent in Germany.

"I came to hold talks with KfW, to agree on a loan, to finalize the agreement with the Germans, which was earlier reached in Kyiv," Tuka said.

He noted that the parties would discuss allocation of EUR 55 million out of 500 million loan, which was promised by the German side a year and a half ago.
