IMF retains Ukraine's economy growth at 2.5%

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has retained its forecast for Ukraine's economy growth for 2017 at the level of 2.5% with inflation at 8.5%, according to an economic outlook for Eastern Europe states, posted on the IMF website, Radio Svoboda reports.

The GDP forecast also remained unchanged at 1.5% for 2016 with inflation at 13.5 %.

In addition, the IMF forecasts Ukraine's export growth until 2017 at the level of at least 3.6% of GDP with the decrease in external debt to 136.3% of GDP. The level of foreign debt this year is projected at 141.3% of GDP.
