Kherson governor says there are three potential investors for Kherson Airport

Three potential investors are ready to invest money in the development of Kherson International Airport, Kherson Regional State Administration Chairman Andriy Hordeyev has said.

“Our airport has been included in the airport development program [in Ukraine]. It is our [airport] that is the most prepared and that already has a project of reconstruction. As of today, there are three potential investors that want to come and develop the airport,” Hordeyev said, when speaking at Kherson Airport at solemn events dedicated to the second anniversary of Kherson-Istanbul-Kherson rout launched by Turkish Airlines, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

At the same time, the chairman of Kherson administration didn’t disclose names of these investors.

Hordeyev noted that apart of Kherson residents, residents of other regions of Ukraine use the service of Kherson International Airport. “These are residents of Mykolaiv, Kropyvnytskyi, even residents of Odesa and Zaporizhzhia come here,” the governor added.
