Poroshenko signs law enabling Ukraine to attract 400 mln euros for agrarian sector

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law enabling Ukraine to receive cheap credits for small and medium-sized farms, the president’s press service reports.

“President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law of Ukraine on the ratification of financial agreements (a draft on the main credit for the agrarian sector – Ukraine) between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank”. The agreement was signed on December 28, 2015,” reads the report.

Thus, the document is aimed at supporting the Ukrainian agrarian sector and providing the opportunity to raise a 12-year loan worth EUR 400 million with a 4-year grace period.
