Ukraine, Hungary agree to enhance cooperation

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has held a meeting with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban in the city of Krynica Zdrój on September 7, the government’s official website reports.

The sides discussed directions of enhancing cooperation between the two countries and agreed to elaborate a medium-term plan of cooperation in the sphere of infrastructure, energy and agrarian sector.

Participants in the meeting also agreed to raise to a new level the Ukrainian-Hungarian Interdepartmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. From the Ukrainian side, it will be headed by Vice-Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze,while from the Hungarian side, an official representative will be elected in the near future.
